Van Horne Jewelers is one of the areas premier jewelry destinations. We are a family owned and operated, single location, retail store that specializes in fine jewelry and expert craftsmanship. Ralph Van Horne founded our downtown store in 1926. It remained under his ownership until Madison Knight Sr. who was employed by Mr. Van Horne for sometime, purchased the establishment. Upon the retirement of Mr. Knight Sr. his son, Madison Knight Jr., took over the daily operations. The name of the business was kept in place due to the fine reputation already established and the long-standing relationship between the two owners.

   Our goal always has been and always will be: to provide customers with an exceptional experience through superior service and exceptional jewelry.

   Today our focus is on blending both traditional jewelry designs with contemporary, fashion-forward pieces. It is by our having an extensive inventory that we can appeal to many different tastes.

   For our customers benefit, the majority of our staff have received formal training from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and by the American Gem Society (AGS). We believe that through this continuous investment in our core people our customers will be better served.

   Our Goldsmiths are some of the best in the business. With decades of experience between them, we believe that our shop performs above the rest. Through continuous training and the implementing of 21-century technology, we have surpassed our competition in the scope of and in the quality of our work. Rare is the job that cannot be done. Each of our Goldsmith’s bring a unique background and knowledge base to the table which gives our shop a well rounded approach to both quality repairs and custom projects. The addition of laser-welding technology 8 years ago has been instrumental in pushing the limits of what can be done. The 24 years of combined experience just on the laser welder puts us ahead of other jewelers in the area.
